One of the most classic and simplest desserts you can possibly create, inside OR outside. You don’t need to be camping to chow down on this chocolatey fluff graham. I’ll even let you in on a secret, sometimes it’s even better with a Reese’s cup in the middle. Either way, Hershey’s comes through every time. Whether you’re singing around a campfire or looking to scrounge up a quick snack in your kitchen, S’mores are never a bad idea.

Want to know S’more?

Generally assumed that the sweet ooey-gooey treat was created by campers and vacationers passing on from person to person. The recipe itself was published back in 1927, in the Girl Scout Handbook. I’m not surprised myself; those Girl Scouts knew what they were doing and still sell some of the most popular cookies around.

Let’s start roasting and toasting:

Snackshop.com 2.6 oz Hershey Bar or2.8 oz Reese’s Cup
Graham crackers (honey or cinnamon work well)
Mini or Large Marshmallows
Campfire/Firepit or Microwave

Option 1:

First, let’s prep your graham sandwich with the chocolate or peanut butter cup.

Bring out the fluffy marshmallow piece for the final touch. If you’re roasting over an open flame (safety first of course), be sure you’re roasting the marshmallow to your preference. Burnt to the crisp or barely a touch of fire. Smoosh accordingly to melt the chocolatey goodness between the grahams.

Option 2:

Open that pantry and take out the crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows.

Stack them in, I guess whichever order you want really, and place them on a microwavable plate.

Pop in the microwave for about 20 seconds and watch it bubble.

Although you may not have a black and crispy marshmallow taste, you still have your s’more…and that my friend is a win in my book.

Next time gather your friends for a sing along and sweet ‘s’moregasbord’.
